FAQ's for Theatre

Do I need to audition to become a Theatre major?
No, you declare your major with the Undergraduate Advisor - Tommy Iafrate.

Do I need to be a Theatre major to be in a show?
No, all students registered for at least 4 credits at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University are encouraged to audition for MainStage, Studio, InTheWorks and Open Season Shows.

How do I register for a restricted class?
Email the instructor. You must get permission from the instructor in order to register, they will give you instructions on how to proceed.

I missed the first class, can I still register?
Contact the instructor by email as soon as possible AND go to the next meeting of the class. The instructor will let you know if you can get into the class when you attend. Most instructors are less likely to let you into the class if you do not attend the next available class. Also, the farther into the semester, the less likely there will be space for you.
