As students enter college, there is an increased expectation of self advocacy and responsibility. Students with disabilities play an active part of notifying professors of their Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ authorized accommodations, and have responsibilities they will need to fulfill each semester in order to access their accommodations. Students with accommodations at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ are expected to:
- Complete a Semester Request form each semester to let SSD know which professors should be notified of accommodations
- Speak with each professor regarding their accommodations and how they will be implemented for each course
- Report any problems, issues or concerns with accommodations to SSD as soon as possible
- Contact SSD if there is an need for changing or updating accommodations
