Dr. Caitlin Anderson, Chair and Teaching Professor
Dr. Caitlin Anderson is a chair and teaching professor of the Department of University Foundations at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ. She earned her doctorate in education policy and leadership from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ and earned her master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M University, with an emphasis in student affairs administration in higher education. Dr. Anderson has been teaching at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ since 2012 and is the recipient of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ’s highest honor, the M Award, as well as a three-time nominee for the HOPE teaching award. She was previously the Director of the Hilltop Scholars Program at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ.
Dr. Anderson’s research interests include college student community engagement, college honors programming, and academic programs and their relationship to college student retention. She is a frequent presenter of college student well-being and the effectiveness of first-year programming at professional conferences nationwide.
