ITS Project Governance Committee (PGC)

At Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ University, Information Technology Services (ITS) is committed to supporting the university's mission and the President’s Road Map by prioritizing and aligning ITS projects that enhance academic, administrative, and student success. To help manage this process, the university has established the ITS Project Governance Committee (PGC), a leadership group that reviews and approves project proposals.

Information and Educational Technology Committee 

Charge: 

1. To advise the Faculty Senate, the Provost, the Vice President of Operations, and the Chief Information Officer on information and educational technology policy, including policy related to information security and computer and network access, system implementations and usage, and broader computer and technology needs. 

2. When applicable, to survey or solicit and receive comments from the campus community regarding proposed changes in technology or information technology policy, to gauge their potential impact.

ITS Research Computing Advisory Committee

Charge:

1. To advise the Faculty Senate, the Provost, and the Chief Information Officer on the research computing needs of the faculty, and on related matters of support, space, service and computing infrastructure. 

2. To serve as a vehicle for communication between the faculty, ITS, and the administration regarding research computing.
