Lillian “Lily” Derr, a Dallas, Texas native, is a Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where she recently published with Tower Center Fellow Mark Wynne. She previously worked as a consultant for the George W. Bush Presidential Center’s Economic Growth Initiative and as an Undergraduate Fellow at the Commercial Diplomacy Initiative at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Cox.

Lily graduated from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ with a double major in mathematics and political science, and minors in environmental engineering and public policy and international affairs through the Tower Scholars Program. She was a Tower Scholar, a Dedman College Scholar, a Pre-Law Scholar, a Grand Challenges Scholar, a Provost Scholar, a Millwee Scholar, a Discovery Scholar, an Undergraduate Research Assistant, and an Engaged Learning Fellow. During her time at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, she served as the Student Representative to the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Board of Trustees on the Academic Policy, Planning, & Management Committee; President of the University Honors Program Student Advisory Council; Student Representative on the Faculty Advisory Council; and Undergraduate Representative on the President's Commission on the Status of Women. In addition to these roles, she also served on the Dedman College Executive Board, contributing to college-level strategic discussions and academic priorities.
