Young Alumni Committee Officers
August Hoffman is one of the three Founding Members and the President of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Cox Young Alumni Committee. Additionally, August sits on the Cox Alumni Association Board of Directors. Originally from Kansas City, August joined the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ community in the fall of 2020. As a 2024 graduate, he spent his academic career as a finance major while successfully completing a minor in Chinese. During his time on campus, August was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity while participating in numerous clubs within and outside of the business school. He spent his junior year studying abroad in the South of France where he worked alongside fellow Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ students seeking a deeper understanding of the French language while studying European markets.
Since graduating, August works as a Commercial Risk Advisor and Insurance Broker at IMA Financial Group here in Dallas. He represents companies in the middle market, working alongside his team to build risk programs that fit operations and exposures today while planning for future growth.
In his free time, August enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, attending services at Highland Park United Methodist Church, and cheering on the Mustangs throughout the seasons.

Luke Evans is one of the three founding members and the Vice President of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Cox Young Alumni Committee. After growing up in the Houston area, Luke committed to play football under Sonny Dykes. During his time on campus, Luke was involved in several clubs and an active member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon community while completing his major in Finance.
Since his 2022 graduation from the Hilltop, Luke has started his career on the Capital Markets team at Lincoln Property Company, where he focuses on debt and equity placement, financial structuring, and capital strategy for real estate investments and development projects. In this role, he works closely with internal development and investment teams as well as institutional capital partners to structure financing solutions across a range of asset types.
Luke is an avid Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ fan and keeps up, not only with the football team, but Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ sports as a whole. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, hunting, and playing golf.

Taylor Cohen is one of the three Founding Members and serves as Treasurer of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Cox Young Alumni Committee. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he graduated from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ in May 2024 with a degree in Finance and a specialization in Asset and Wealth Management. While on campus, he served as President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and was actively involved in student leadership.
Since graduation, Taylor has worked as a Wealth Management Associate at Merrill Lynch, serving families across the United States.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, participating in watersports, and cheering on the Mustangs.
