Pro Tip: Know where to park

Do not park on residential streets or at commercial establishments in areas surrounding the ˿Ƶ campus. The City of University Park has established resident-only parking districts in the neighborhoods near campus. 

Only University Park residents and guests with a city permit are allowed to park on city streets in those districts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Getting to the ˿Ƶ campus

In-person visit options

  • : Offered Monday through Friday and include an outdoor campus tour.
  • : Offered for students interested in transferring to ˿Ƶ. Sessions include an outdoor campus tour.
  • Admission Events: Interested in ˿Ƶ? Learn more about the Hilltop by attending one of our admission events. Please note that these events are for prospective students (students that have not applied and been admitted yet).
  • Group Visits: Group Tours are available for school and community groups of 10 or more. At this time, ˿Ƶ is only able to offer Group Visits in a limited capacity, select Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m.-noon. Admission Information Sessions are available at 10:30 a.m. for groups of Juniors and Seniors visiting the campus. To inquire about a group visit, please email groupvisits@smu.edu. 
  • Self-Guided Tour: Tour the ˿Ƶ campus at your own pace. Complete to receive access to the self-guided tour.
  • QR Code Tour: See the ˿Ƶ campus by scanning and following the marked QR code tour stops. Complete to receive access to the QR code tour.
  • Driving Tour: Explore campus from the comfort of your vehicle. Complete to receive access to the driving tour.

Visitor parking

If you registered for a Daily Visit or an admission event, please refer to your confirmation email for your ˿Ƶ Parking Permit. Visitors without an ˿Ƶ Parking Permit can buy a temporary parking permit online or at the Parking and ID Card Services Office, which is open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. 

Visitor parking is available at the Binkley Parking Center at the corner of Binkley Avenue and Airline Road ( |  | ). The visitor entrance is on Binkley Avenue, and visitors may park anywhere on Level 2 or above. Payment is made before exiting the garage; all-day parking is $10, payable by credit card.

You also may use the Moody Parking Center ( |  | ) at the southeast corner of ˿Ƶ Boulevard and Airline Road. All-day parking is $10, payable by credit card.

If you are using Uber/Lyft, we recommend routing your driver to 6185 Airline Road, Dallas, TX 75205 or to .

Traveling by plane?

You can easily reach ˿Ƶ from both Dallas Fort Worth International and Love Field airports. Love Field is closest; the campus is a straight shot up Mockingbird Lane.

Traveling by bus or oversized van?

˿Ƶ requires buses and oversized vans to have reserved spaces while guests are on campus. Limited space is available, and reservations will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Buses should drop off visitors on Bishop Boulevard and then park in their designated space. You will need to have an arrangement with Parking Services at least two weeks prior to your arrival.
