The Dalai Lama brings message of peace and tolerance to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ
Religious leader urges tolerance, consideration and patience to sellout crowd.
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and the George W. Bush Presidential Center welcomed His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to Dallas on July 1 for “A Conversation with the Dalai Lama.”
His Holiness was warmly received in Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Moody Coliseum, where an overflow crowd sang "Happy Birthday" to him. His visit to Dallas came just days before his 80th birthday on July 6 – a birthdate that he shares with former President George W. Bush. The renowned spiritual leader and Nobel laureate participated in a moderated discussion with ABC News political correspondent Cokie Roberts as the moderator.
