Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ among supporters of the Dallas Mayor's Summer Reading Club
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ joins Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings in kicking off the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club.
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ President R. Gerald Turner encouraged students to “Pony Up and Read” at the May 14 kick-off of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings’ Mayor’s Summer Reading Club. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ is one of the sponsors of the eight-week Dallas libraries summer reading program.
As Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ celebrates its “,” Turner also encouraged young readers to visit other landmarks while on campus, such as the and a two-week exhibit (July 14-27) at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s DeGolyer Library featuring of the Acts of Congress, which includes the U.S. Constitution.
