Nobel winner Leymah Gbowee wows Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ crowd
Nobel prize winner Leymah Gbowee recently spoke at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ about anti-violence. Her presentation was hosted by Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ's Embrey Human Rights program and the World Affairs Council.

Three standing ovations this Wednesday night for Nobel Prize winner, author and peacemaker Leymah Gbowee.
At Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ, she told a packed theater that children forced to become soldiers led her to lead Christian and Muslim women to demand an end to Liberia's civil war. "Creating a safe space for our children to achieve their dreams that we could not achieve" she told a young boy in the audience. "That was my motivation."
