Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Faculty Senate Resolution:
The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Faculty Senate has passed a resolution commending President and Mrs. Turner on their vision, determination and leadership in transforming and strengthening the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ campus.
Whereas, President R. Gerald Turner and Mrs. Gail Turner's efforts and leadership over the last sixteen years have transformed and strengthened the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ campus;
Whereas, President R. Gerald Turner and Mrs. Gail Turner's determination and vision have provided the faculty with the means and direction needed to achieve their academic goals;
Whereas, President R. Gerald Turner and Mrs. Gail Turner's energy and commitment to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ were instrumental in positioning the university to excel as a national university in an international city; and
Whereas, President R. Gerald Turner and Mrs. Gail Turner's reputation and principles have protected and supported the faculty through troubled times, living up to the university's motto Veritas Liberabit Vos; now therefore be it
Resolved, that the Faculty Senate of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Methodist University commends President R. Gerald Turner and Mrs. Gail Turner for their leadership, vision and determination in driving Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ to excel in the new century.
