Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Men's and Women's Basketball teams launch their 2011-12 seasons this weekend at home in Moody Colliseum.
The Mustangs enter the season following their most successful campaign in more than a decade. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ recorded its first 20-win season and first post-season bid since 1999-2000, finishing 20-15 and advancing to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT) semifinal.
This is the men's 95th season of basketball. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ is 55-40 in season openers and 38-16 when opening the season at home. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and McMurry are meeting for the fifth time with Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ owning a 4-0 all-time mark against the War Hawks.

Tip-off time for the women's opener is at noon Saturday against Alcorn State University.
Fans attending the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ football game against Navy - kickoff time at 2:30 p.m. Saturday - will be admitted to the women's game with their football ticket.
The women's team has two home dates on TV this season. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ will host Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Miss on Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. on CBS SN. The contest against Rice on Feb. 19 will air on FSN at noon. Both games will be played in Moody Coliseum.
