Background
Alma Rood is a clinical instructor and lecturer in the Division of Nursing at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She joined the undergraduate nursing programs at Decker in 2015 as an adjunct faculty member and became a full-time instructor, lecturer and course coordinator in 2017. She has extensive expertise in the long-term care, geriatric and hospice fields.
Rood also practices part-time as an admission and visit nurse for a hospice organization in the community, providing end-of-life care, and as a nursing supervisor and staff nurse at a local long-term care facility.
